General Terms and Conditions of Sale

HÔTEL DE FRANCE — MONACO**

1. Purpose and Scope

These Terms & Conditions (hereafter “T&Cs”) apply to all services offered by the Hôtel de France – Société d’Exploitation de l’Hôtel de France, S.A.M., 6 rue de la Turbie, 98000 Monaco.

They apply to all bookings made:

via the hotel’s official website,
by phone or email with the reception,
through online travel agencies (OTAs).

Any booking implies full acceptance of these T&Cs.

2. Definitions

Client, Booking, Flexible Rate, Non-Refundable Rate, No-show, Breakfast, OTA…

3. Hotel Features

27 rooms
Fully air-conditioned
No lift (stairs only)
No extra beds available
Baby cots on request only
Pets not allowed (except guide dogs)
No private parking; public parking nearby (Parking de la Colle)

4. Booking

Personal bookings — resale prohibited

Bookings are strictly personal.

Resale or transfer of rooms is forbidden without written approval.

Group bookings

More than 5 rooms on the same dates = group booking, requiring a specific written agreement.

5. Arrival & Departure

Check-in from 3:00 PM — Check-out before 11:00 AM.

Late check-out fees may apply:

until 2:00 PM: up to 50% of the room rate
after 2:00 PM: full extra night charged

6. Rates

Prices in euros, VAT included, excluding city tax.

Dynamic pricing applies.

7. Payment — Guarantee — Pre-authorisation

Valid credit card required.

Pre-authorisation may be carried out before arrival.

Accepted payment methods: cards, cash (within legal limits), secure online payment via Apaleo Pay.

In case of payment incident or fraud, the hotel may cancel current or future bookings.

8. Cancellation — Modification — No-show

Flexible rates: free cancellation before the deadline indicated
Non-refundable rates: no changes, no refunds
No-show: first night (flex rates) or full stay (NRF)

9. Relocation

In case of technical or safety issues preventing accommodation, the hotel may arrange relocation or reimbursement of unused nights.

10. Parcels

The hotel may accept small parcels as a courtesy but assumes no liability.

11. House Rules

No smoking, respect for safety rules, no disturbances.

The hotel may terminate the stay in case of inappropriate behaviour.

12. Liability

The hotel cannot be held responsible for theft, external noise, misuse of equipment, or items not stored in designated safes.

13. Force Majeure

In case of unforeseeable, irresistible events, obligations may be suspended or cancelled.

14. Personal Data

Data processed by the hotel and service providers (Apaleo PMS, Apaleo Pay).

15. Claims & Disputes

Claims must be submitted within 30 days after departure.

Monaco law applies — jurisdiction: Monaco courts.

Any booking implies acceptance of these T&Cs.
