La Condamine

In La Condamine, on Rue Caroline, Bella Vita is a safe bet for simple, generous Italian food: pizza, pasta, meat and fish, served from morning to night.

At the Condamine market, two spots stand out: Maison des Pâtes, a local institution since 1977 making fresh homemade pasta, and Norma, upstairs in the market, for a full Italian menu, pizza included.

The Rock

On the Rock, U Cavagnetu, just steps from the Palace, is THE place to try Monégasque specialties: barbagiuans, pissaladière or Swiss chard pie, in a charming pedestrian alley.

For a more upscale lunch with a stunning view, head to Castelroc, right across from the Prince's Palace. A slightly bigger budget, but a setting to match.
