Hôtel de France begins a new chapter in Monaco

A new chapter for a historic address in La Condamine

Hôtel de France is now writing a new page in its history.

Since the end of the year, the establishment has changed ownership and is entering a phase of progressive transformation, designed to sustainably improve the experience of its guests, while maintaining the warm and authentic soul that has built its reputation.

This evolution is part of a clear vision :

👉 to modernise the hotel,

👉 to redesign certain key spaces,

👉 and to adapt our tools and services to the current expectations of travellers, whether on business or leisure trips to Monaco.

Renovation works scheduled from January to early March

To support this new dynamic, Hôtel de France will undertake a complete renovation during the months of January, February and early March.

These works will concern:

• all rooms, with an objective of comfort, simplicity and modernity,

• the common areas, and particularly the lobby, which will undergo the most visible transformation.

A lobby reimagined as a true living space

The future lobby of Hôtel de France will no longer be merely a transit area. It is designed as:

• a welcoming and cosy place,

• a space where you can settle, work, exchange,

• a natural extension of the bedroom, conducive to both calm and encounters.

This approach is part of a contemporary vision of hospitality: more human, more fluid, more connected to the real uses of travellers.

Modernisation also… behind the scenes

Beyond the physical spaces, this renovation is accompanied by a complete upgrade of the hotel's tools.

You can already discover:

• our new website, clearer, more readable and more informative.

  
  

In the coming weeks, it will be enhanced by:

• an online booking engine, allowing you to book directly, simply and securely.

These developments aim to improve the fluidity of the customer journey, before, during and after the stay.

Works and guest comfort: our commitment

We wish to reassure our guests :

✔️ everything will be done to limit disturbances,

✔️ and our team will remain fully mobilised to guarantee a pleasant and peaceful stay.

Exceptional closure in February 2026

To allow for certain essential technical interventions, Hôtel de France will be entirely closed from 16 to 24 February 2026 inclusive.

This short closure is part of a quality and safety approach, and will allow us to welcome you afterwards in the best possible conditions.
