Monaco is not an EU member but applies the Schengen agreements. EU citizens may enter with a valid national identity card. Other nationalities must have a valid passport. No visa is required for short tourist stays for most nationalities.
By train: Monaco-Monte-Carlo station is a 1-minute walk from the hotel. By car: A8 motorway, Monaco exit, direction port. By plane: Nice Côte d'Azur airport, 30 minutes away (hourly bus, Place d'Armes stop) or Monaco Heliport (free shuttle to the hotel).
Monaco has a very efficient bus network covering the entire Principality. Free public elevators and escalators connect the different neighbourhoods. Everything is easily accessible on foot from the hotel.
